Homework will be assigned every other week, alternating with quizzes. Homeworks will be worth 20 points each. Quizzes will be worth 10 points each. I will drop the lowest two quiz scores, which will include 0's for missed quizzes. This means that you can miss two quizzes with no penalty. I will not drop homework scores.
There are no makeup quizzes and late homework will not be accepted.
Daily lab work is optional. For extra credit, you can submit labwork consisting of at least two solutions to posted questions requiring programs to be written. The solutions must compile and run and produce correct results for extra credit to be earned. Each such extra credit submission will be worth one point.
